Tsuzuki Ward   disaster headquarters Operation Training was held in fiscal 2019!

Taking advantage of the disaster prevention week in September, we conducted training on the operation of disaster headquarters Tsuzuki Ward   on September 6. In this training, assuming that a major earthquake occurred during the holidays, staff members gathered at the ward office in order to conduct training on the initial response until the establishment and operation of the disaster headquarters.
In the event of a major earthquake, the staff gathered at the ward office will operate the disaster headquarters by preparing various communication equipment and whiteboards, collecting information from the fire department, police department, Public Works Office, etc., and organizing various information collected. In this training, with the cooperation of the fire department and the police department, we actually collected information from related organizations and organized the results on a whiteboard.
In recent years, large-scale disasters such as earthquakes, storms and floods have occurred frequently throughout the country. It is not surprising that a similar disaster may occur here in Yokohama at any time. Even if it is a ward office, we will continue to carry out disaster response training like this time and will try for reinforcement of disaster response capabilities.
