Outdoor Film Screening Part 1

Subsequently, graduates of connected college are active in various places!

In order to promote community development through collaboration, Tsuzuki Ward   has been holding “Tsuki Connection College” since FY2016 to learn how to solve local issues and create local attractions.
This time, I would like to introduce two initiatives by college graduates (24 I graduate students in 2016).

1 Outdoor Film Screening
The outdoor movie screening is a business that the I first-year student of the connected college started at the local Kitayamada (Yamada Fuji Park) in 2017.
"I want local friends and family to make fun memories of summer vacation by watching movies in the open space of the park. I want you to like the locals who can participate in such events." Riki Yamato, the founder, speaks passionately.
In order to screen the movie, in addition to arranging screens and projection equipment, it was necessary to pay the distribution company a fee for the movie. The cost of a series of expenses is supported by Yamada Union Neighborhood Association of Yamada Union.
In FY2018, on August 25, a work that was very popular with children, "The Great Desert Guru's Minion Large Escape" was screened, and more than 200 participants enjoyed the movie.

2 “Connected Marche”
Similarly, the first-year student of the connected college started in front of the Yokohama City History Museum. "Connected Marche" began in fiscal 2018 as an outdoor market where handmade products from Tsuzuki Ward   and surrounding areas are sold.
Even if products are not sold at retail stores, there are many attractive items in the area, such as accessories that are convenient for daily life and eco-friendly miscellaneous goods. "Connected Marche" connects consumers who want to buy these products and creators.
On November 10, when Marche opened, attractive products were lined up, such as handicrafts and accessories, handmade soaps, baked goods, local vegetables, lunch boxes, etc. carefully crafted by local organizations. .
According to the event representative Itaru Kimura, "The hurdle until the Marche was held was not low, but we have finally built a foundation, so we will discover more attractive products and people next!"

Please keep an eye on the two projects that graduates of the connected college are working on.
