　On Saturday, January 18, disaster drill (evacuation shelter Training) was held at Tobe Elementary School.
　This year, Nishi Ward has been focusing on measures to prevent toilets in evacuation centers, and at Tobe Elementary School evacuation shelter, training was conducted for the first time in a long time to install a temporary toilet toilet.
　About 30 members, including members of the steering committee and fire brigade, moved to the schoolyard to assemble the temporary toilet after receiving explanations from the staff of the ward General Affairs Division about the structure of the hamacco toilet. Training was conducted just like a real disaster, such as digging up the buried manhole, removing the lid, and actually draining the water from the pool to the sewer.
　Countermeasures for toilets at evacuation centers in the event of a disaster are an important issue, so I felt very encouraging to see the local people working seriously on training while assuming a real disaster. .
　Taking advantage of the various connections and unity that have been nurtured through the efforts of the 80th anniversary of the constituency system last year, we will continue to work together with the local community to create disaster-resistant Nishi Ward.
