On Sunday, May 5, the Gosho Goromaru Tomb Festival was held.

Gosho Goromaru was sent to Yoritomo Minamoto in May 1193, when Yoritomo Minamoto hunted Fuji, and the Soga brothers took the Soga brothers to Yukei's mansion and helped him revenge. After passing the Samurai to Yukei's house and sent them to Yukei's house to help him revenge.
The Goshogoromaru Tomb was donated to Yokohama City in 1963, and was registered as aGoshoyama City Regional Historic Site in 1963.
The day of the grave festival was blessed with fine weather, and children were able to carry mikoshi, pull floats, and paraded around the area, overflowing with the smiles of many people.
I think that the reason why the Tomb Festival can be held safely every year is that the Goshoyama Town Association is dedicated to daily management, such as cleaning graves and surrounding areas, and protects the historic graves. Thank you very much.
We will continue to cherish the tradition and history of Nishi Ward and pass it on to the next generation.
