It's fun! October 14 Nishi Ward Junior High School High School Brass Band Festival

　On Monday, October 14, the Nishi Ward Junior High School and High School Brass Band Festival was held in Nishi public hall as a special event commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Nishi Ward system. Five junior high schools where Nishi Ward children attend (Okano Naka, Nishinaka, Karuizawa Naka, Iwaihara Naka, Oimatsu Naka) and the brass band of Yokohama Hiranuma High School and Hiranuma Marching Band met together to perform wonderfully.
　Beginning with the opening performance of the Hiranuma Marching Band, each junior high school and high school played more than 20 songs from nostalgic hit songs to recent artist medleys. The children showed the results of the practice and performed hard, and each and every one was shining. At Takarajima, a joint performance of all schools at the end of the festival, the audience and the players were united through music, and the venue was wrapped in a whirlpool of excitement.
　In addition, at the adjacent district center, the “Nishi District Center Festival” and “Chikusen Cafe” were also held at the same time. There were many mock shops for eating and drinking and fun, and this was also crowded with many visitors.
　Many people, including junior volunteers in the fifth district, helped manage the venue. . I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of our stakeholders and organizations for their great efforts to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Nishi Ward system.
