  • Overview of Restrictions (Excerpt from Agreement)
    (Standards for Buildings)
    Article 6 The use, form, structure, site and location of buildings in the agreement area must be based on the standards specified in the following items.
    (1) The use shall be a single-family house, a clinic combined house, or a combined house according to Article 130-3 of the Building Standards Law Enforcement Order. Provided, however, that this shall not apply to those that do not violate the purpose of Article 1 and have been approved by the Steering Committee stipulated in Article 7 in consultation with Yokohama City.
    (2) The height of the building shall not exceed 9m from the ground surface and the height of the eaves shall not exceed 7.5m.
    (3) The number of floors excluding the basement shall be 2 or less.
    (4) The site cannot be divided. Provided, however, that this shall not apply if the site area after the split is 180m2 or more.
    (5) Changes to the ground surface of the site (at the time of the announcement of the agreement approval) shall not be made. Provided, however, that this shall not apply to the construction of a car garage, the exterior construction such as the installation of stairs accompanying it, or excavation and backfilling for rebuilding an existing retaining wall to a reinforced concrete straight retaining wall.
    (6) Buildings or structures shall not be built and built outside the retaining wall top line along the site boundary line. However, this does not apply to the eaves and eaves of buildings. (Refer to No.1 in Figure 1)
    (7) The distance from the outer wall of the building or the surface of the pillar in place of this to the road boundary is based on the standards in the Type 3 scenic area prescribed in the Yokohama City Scenic Area Ordinance (Ordinance No. 35 of 1970).
