Otsuka / Toshikatsudo Archeological Park is a park that has been maintained as a historical park from the Otsuka archeological site and Toshikatsudo archeological site, which were places of life during the Yayoi period, as a historical park.

Park facility outline
As the name implies, this park is a "historical park" that discloses the Otsuka archeological site and Toshikatsu archeological sites. Both archeological sites are archaeological sites of the middle Yayoi period built on a low plateau on the northern shore of the Hayabuchi River.
In the development of Kohoku New Town, Yokohama City advocated the preservation and succession of cultural properties, and it was developed and released as a "historical park" along with the Chigasaki Castle ruins on the other side of the Hayabuchi River.
In addition, there is a cultural experience facility "Tsuzuki Minkaen" with an old private house with thatched roof.

Main facilities introduction
・Otsuka archeological site
It is a trace of unevenness that is said to have been inhabited by about 100 people in the Yayoi period about 2000 years ago. There were moats around it to prevent foreign enemies.
Inside the archeological site, pit dwellings, stilt warehouses, molding remains, wooden bridges, etc. have been restored.
・Toshikatsu ruins
This is the site of the grave of the people who lived in the Otsuka archeological site. There are tombs characterized by low square embankments called square tombs and tombs characterized by their trenches surrounded by ditches.
The state at the time of the excavation and the wooden coffin have been restored so that the burial can be understood.
・Tsuzuki Minkaen
An old private house with a thatched roof built in the middle and late Edo period, relocated from Ushikubo-cho with the development of Kohoku New Town, have been relocated, and many events and courses are held throughout the year.
