Park facility outline
Before the park opened, this forest was owned by a company called Daiichi Carbon in Tsuzuki Ward . The double cherry blossoms were planted by the president of the previous president about 50 years ago. People in the neighborhood have known this forest, which had been open to the local community, "Carbon Mountain," but when they learned that it would be sold to condominium development companies in 2001, people formed the "Sakura Forest Conservation Society" and started activities in conservation. In Yokohama City, in order to preserve and utilize the rare Yaezakura mountain in the city, the park has been developed as part of the "Creating a park for famous flowers" project, taking into account requests from local people. .
