The Yokohama Sewerage River Bureau operates two types of recycled water: filtered water and ozone treated water.
Care must be taken when handling, such as being unsuitable for beverages.
It sells to contractors used for public works and consignment in Yokohama City.
We do not sell when used outside Yokohama city or to the general public.
(* There is a change in the payment method of usage fee from 2017. Please be careful.
This section introduces how to purchase reclaimed water (filtered water) using a recycled water supply device.

Application for Reclaimed Water

Please use this one. ※Submission of an application is required for each public construction or consignment that uses recycled water. It is not possible to apply for the amount used for multiple public works and consignments. ※For order construction and consignment at JV (consortium), please use the representative company as the applicant. 2 Copy of contract work (public construction, consignment, etc.) contract that uses recycled water 3 Items that can be used to verify the identity of the applicant (employee ID, license, business card, etc.) <<Applicant> gk-saiseihanbai@city.yokohama.jp Please send the above documents attached to the e-mail. ★The subject of the email must be as follows. [Application for Recycled Water Use] ○○ Co., Ltd. ※If the subject of the e-mail does not include [Application for recycled water use], it will not be accepted correctly, so please be thorough. If your application is accepted, we will send you an e-mail with information on the following procedures. Subsequent procedures will be carried out at the Yokohama City Hall 29th Floor Sewerage River Bureau Facility Management Section (reclaimed water sales window). After applying, we will exchange a usage contract and lend a "Usage Permit" and a "recyclable water key". ※Due to the procedure for issuing a contract or use key Normally, it takes about 10 days (excluding weekends and holidays). After applying, you will not be able to use it immediately, so please apply in advance. |

Usage results report
| Report on usage volume | For each water supply, measure (before and after water supply) using the water meter of the sales equipment. Fill in the amount of water used in the recycled water use results report (download of the report (Excel: 118KB)). ★The new style has been adopted since April 2024. Please use this one. The report will be sent to the Facility Management Division (reclaimed water sales counter) at the end of each month and by the 5th of the following month. Please send by e-mail (gk-saiseihanbai@city.yokohama.jp). ★The subject of the email must be as follows. [Report on Recycled Water Use Results Report] ○Month, number ○ ※If the subject of the e-mail does not include [Recycled Water Use Results Report], it will not be accepted correctly, so please be thorough. ※Even if there is no usage amount (zero), please submit a report. ※Upon expiration of the contract period, promptly obtain a “Usage Permit” and “Use Key” Yokohama City Hall 29th Floor Sewerage River Bureau Facility Management Section (reclaimed water sales window) Please return it to me. ※Even if the use is terminated before the expiration of the contract period, the “use permit” and “recycled water use key” will be issued. It is possible to complete the procedure by returning it. (It is not necessary to report the results after the month following the return date.) |

About acceptance of application for recycled water use at the end of the fiscal year
| Date required | Application for applications from the second week of March to the second week of April 14 days (excluding weekends and holidays) from the date of application to the issuance of the contract. ※If you wish to use the service from April 1, the deadline for submitting the application will be the second week of March. |
