Smart Agriculture Demonstration Project Utilizing Sewerage Resources

To contribute to the creation of a recycling-oriented society and make agriculture smarter, we will conduct cultivation demonstrations using sewage resources such as sewage reclaimed water and heat, in an environment where the temperature and humidity are controlled by smart agricultural equipment at agricultural houses in Hokubu Sewerage Center (Hokubu Sludge Treatment Plant and Tsurumi Ward).

1. Utilize unused resources from sewerage, such as sewage reclamation water, sewage heat, and carbon dioxide generated by sewage treatment, cultivate crops, etc., and verify usefulness and safety in cooperation with academic institutions. .
2. We will introduce smart agricultural equipment and manage growth remotely. We will promote effect verification and accumulation of knowledge for the spread of smart agriculture.
3. In addition to conducting training for farmers, etc., we will also conduct tours for citizens and companies.

This facility accepts facility tours only for group tours.

Date and time of visit: Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) 10:00 a.m. to 16:00

※The target is administrative agencies, private companies, research institutes, agriculture-related organizations, sewerage-related organizations, and educational institutions.
※The tour will be one group per frame, and 10 people / groups.
※Applications will be closed during the summer season (July to August).

The nearest "Toshiba Nishi Turbine-mae" bus stop is about 20 minutes on the 10th stop.

➁When you get off at the "Toshiba Nishi turbine-mae" bus stop, you will find a pass gate.
You can enter from the entrance gate and there is this facility in the fence on the right side.
(The entrance gate is closed except during the tour.)
