In order to deepen our understanding of environmental issues such as biodiversity and global warming, we conduct "Environmental Education dispatch lecture/off site lecture" for elementary and junior high schools and local residents in the city with specialized knowledge such as civic groups, companies, international organizations, and city halls.
We conduct "environmental learning" for various generations to learn about environmental issues related to waste.
The Environmental Learning Program is designed for people who want to provide opportunities for learning about the environment, such as dispatch lecture/off site lecture and residents' briefings.
This course is designed so that instructors with specialized knowledge can communicate and practice the initiatives that can be started today to children who will be responsible for the future of Yokohama. .

dispatch lecture/off site lecture implemented by Kanagawa Prefecture

In order to deepen the understanding of the environment and energy through school education and foster "people who think and act on their own", elementary and junior high schools are provided to companies and organizations in the prefecture who have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the environment and energy. "Kanagawa Environmental Class" is being held in high schools, etc., where hands-on classes with experiments are conducted.

Preservation and Research Center, City of Yokohama (Asahi-ku, Yokohama)This facility was created for the purpose of researching and researching the breeding and breeding of rare wildlife and the preservation of species. Although it is not usually open to the public, it accepts tours of schools and other facilities.
Forest of Yokohama Nature Observation
(Sakae-ku, Yokohama)
At the Yokohama Nature Observation Forest (outside site), you can observe various plants, insects, and wild birds. A ranger is stationed at the Nature Observation Center to introduce the beauty of nature and the expressions of flora and fauna every season. You can interact with and observe many familiar creatures living in nature, and learn how to interact with nature and humans.
Environmental Activity Support Center
(Hodogaya-ku, Yokohama)
Environmental Activity Support Center is located in a green environment that is integrated with the elementary school student Amusement Park, Children's Botanical Garden and the Commonwealth Cemetery. We are promoting projects to support citizens' environmental activities, centering on human resource development in the field of green (forests, parks, agriculture).
Satoyama Exchange Center (outside site) in Shinjiriyama ParkLocated as a base for a large green area in the northern part of Yokohama, Shinji Citizen's Forest, which has facilities such as the former Okutsu House, which boasts an area of 67 hectares, Shinji's nature and satoyama culture panel displays, observation sessions and nature experiences We hold events where you can do it.
Yokohama Hometown VillageYokohama Hometown Village is located in Teraya (Aoba Ward) (outside site) and Maioka (Totsuka Ward) (outside site). The aim is to revitalize the conservation area of good rice fields and agricultural land, as well as to create a conservation landscape.

Behavior, participate and learn

The company will support elementary school students' environmental activities, and the company's sponsorship will be donated to tree-planting activities in Mindanao, Philippines through the United Nations WFP, a food support organization.
