Schools and other facilities
We are currently accepting tours of schools and other facilities. Please contact us for details such as the number of people.
Special Open House
The facilities in Preservation and Research Center, which are usually closed to the public, are introduced to the public, and the results of research and restoration projects. In addition, you can see some of the rare animals bred in the facility.
Implementation of the Spring Special Open House in 2024
Due to the outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza in Tomisato City, Chiba Prefecture on April 29, 2024, the holding of the special release in spring 2024 will be canceled. Future events are undecided.
*Tours of each facility may be canceled due to infectious diseases such as highly pathogenic avian influenza.

Preservation and Research Center, City of Yokohama Science School
During the summer vacation, we hold hands-on science classes.
You can experience the DNA extraction experiment and see the breeding facility.
