Initiatives for Cooperation Agreements on Promotion of Environmental Education and Learning

In order to realize a sustainable society, Yokohama City is developing measures related to environmental education and learning with the aim of "creating people who think and practice concrete actions on their own."
Yokohama City and Advacom Co., Ltd. (outside site), which publishes the environmental information paper "Ecochill", have been working together to create opportunities for children to be interested in the environment, such as disseminating environmental information of Yokohama City in "Ecochill" since 2019.
In anticipation of GREEN × EXPO 2027, we have comprehensively concluded a “Cooperation Agreement on Promotion of Environmental Education and Learning” in order to enhance our efforts.
We will further promote environmental education and learning for children, and actively work on the development of people who practice environmental actions.

（１） Dissemination of environmental information using the Children's Environmental Information Paper "Ecochiru" issued by Advacom Co., Ltd.
　　　▶GREEN x EXPO x 2027, information on biodiversity, decarbonization, green up, parks, resource recycling, and more.
　　　▶We collect and analyze questions and opinions from children and parents through the reader questionnaire function, and provide feedback to our efforts.
（２） Thing about environment-related event held by Motoichi or Advcom Co., Ltd.

Environmental education information paper published by Advacom Inc. This is an abbreviation for "Ecology Children", which was launched in 2006 with the aim of creating opportunities for children to become more interested in the environment. The Ecochill Yokohama version was launched in April 2019 and is distributed free of charge to Municipal Elementary Schools in Yokohama. (approximately 165,000 copies)
