What is Yokohama Hometown Village?
It has been designated as a “Yokohama Hometown Village” for the purpose of revitalizing conservation and the area of agricultural promotion and agricultural land with good rural scenery. It has been developed as a place where citizens can get acquainted with nature and agriculture, such asconservation and utilization of forests.

When using the hometown village, please follow the manners and enjoy a walk.
・Do not park on the street, as it will interfere with local farmers' farming.
・Rice fields and fields are private land, so please do not enter.
・Do not bring home native plants and creatures. Also, do not bring plants or creatures from other places.
The Teraya Mirai Project begins!
Set in the hometown village of Teraya in Aoba-ku, Yokohama City, which retains the traditional rural scenery, we will implement the "Teraya Mirai Project" with the theme of agricultural life. Through walking around the temple area, we discover the charm of the area and create opportunities for participants to come up with ideas.
Teraya Mirai Project
At the kick-off event, Mr. Jun Ono, who has been developing a variety of businesses centered on urban agriculture in Kunitachi City, Tokyo, will talk about the possibilities of agriculture and living with agriculture.

Location: The temple family and the four seasons house
Application period: July 11-August 23
Capacity: 40 people (first come, first served)

■Workshop
In the Teraya Mirai Project, you will be asked to plan and present [My Plan] for each group at a total of three idea emergence workshops. Select a number of plans from your My Plan, and work on the realization of the plan and regional cooperation.

Concept
Promoting local production for local consumption of the Teraya Hometown Village will lead to the continuation of the agriculture of the Teraya Hometown Village.
"I want to connect the rural scenery of the temple family and the village to future generations."
