"Yokohama Nature Observation Forest" is located at the tip of the Miura Peninsula and is located in the southern part of Yokohama City.
Here you can see a variety of plants, insects and wild birds.
Here, interact and observe many familiar creatures living in nature, and learn how to relate nature and humans.

At the Nature Observation Center, a ranger from the Wild Bird Society of Japan is stationed.

• Guide

A ranger is stationed at the Nature Observation Center. It introduces the beauty of nature and the expression of flora and fauna for each season.

• Exhibition

You can see information on the ecology of insects, plants, wild birds, the four seasons, and the structure of nature on panels and models.

• Event

Every Sunday, public holidays and summer vacations, we hold seasonal forests, events to experience forest building, and observe creatures living in the forest.

• Volunteer

Many people support their activities in Yokohama Nature Observation Forest. Men and women of all ages, qualifications do not matter. Would you like to help you protect nature?
The volunteer group "Yokohama Nature Observation Moritomo no Kai" is engaged in various activities related to forest plants and animals.
