As one of the initiatives to support the livelihoods of child-raising households, the Company has provided 100,000 yen per child to children from the age of 0 to the third grade of high school.
However, due to divorce after September 2021, there are those who cannot receive the lump-sum benefits even though they are currently caregivers of children. We will provide "temporary special benefits (support payment) to child-raising households" so that we can receive it. 
This benefit is 100,000 yen per person in elementary school student based on the government's payment guidelines. ※I'll pay for it.
※If a portion of the benefit has already been received from a former caregiver, or has been spent for elementary school student.

[Important!] Applications have been accepted on April 28 (updated on May 27).

About payment period

At present, the payment period is scheduled to be about one and a half months after mailing the application form, if there are no omissions or errors in the application form.

※Please note that the transfer date may be other than the above date depending on the examination status.

Eligible recipients (updated on March 1)

Those who fall under the following (1) or (2) and who were spouses of the recipients of the lump-sum benefit, those who divorced (including divorce consultation) (Note 1), others equivalent to these (Note 2)

(1) Those who did not receive the Child Allowance for September 2021 but became recipients of Child Allowance as of March 2022 (or at the time of application if applying by the end of February)(Note 3).

(2) Those who did not raise high school students as of September 30, 2021 but are raising high school students as of February 28, 2022 (at the time of application if applying by the end of February) (Note 3).

(Note 1)
Documents that can objectively confirm the facts (a copy of the proof mail pertaining to the divorce consultation request, a copy of the mediation date call letter, a copy of the mediation date call letter, family court case certificate, etc.) In addition to the case of divorce, a certificate of Child Allowance, etc.), at least one of them has an intention to divorce and that the other party has been expressed to the other party (proxy/agent case of a divorce, etc.)

1) If you live with your child in a different place from the Address area on resident certificate due to spousal violence but have not been able to change the recipient of temporary special benefits to child-rearing households because the parties did not perform the required procedures for the DV Special Provisions
2) When elementary school student was in a facility, but the director of the facility did not carry out the necessary procedures for the facility, and the director of the facility did not carry out the necessary procedures for special facilities.
3) If the caregiver of the target elementary school student has been replaced by the adoption Special Adaptation after the base date.
4) Returning from abroad after the record date and becoming a recipient of Child Allowance (for example, if the whole family returned to Japan, only the target elementary school student (excluding cases where the whole family had already been covered by Child Allowance, etc.);
5) If the former caregiver (ex-husband) has received advance benefits, but his ex-wife divorces after September, remarried, and the caregiver as of February 28 is remarriage partner (current husband) (If the ex-wife has received the preceding benefit, remarriage (current husband) will not be eligible for support benefits.)

1) Those who are raising elementary school student must earn less than the Child Allowance income limit in 2020.

2) Excludes special benefit recipients who receive 5,000 yen per month per person in elementary school student.

Target elementary school student

A. elementary school student pertaining to the Child Allowance for March 2022 (or at the time of application if applying by the end of February)                        B. High school students, etc., who will be brought up by the recipients as of February 28, 2022 (or at the time of application if applying by the end of February).

Benefits

100,000 yen per person in elementary school student

Provided, however, that the amount shall be deducted from the recipient of the lump-sum benefit from the recipient of the lump-sum benefit based on the application from the recipient of the lump-sum benefit, and if the recipient has spent the money equivalent to the benefitelementary school student, the amount deducted from that amount.

Notes, etc.

・If it is found that it does not meet the requirements of the recipient after receiving the benefit, or if the benefit is paid by false or other improper means, we will ask for a refund of the benefit.
・Those who have already received benefits from other municipalities are not eligible for benefits from Yokohama City.
・The right to receive payment must not be transferred or pledged as collateral.
