About development of Yokohama-shi special support education promotion guideline

In recent years, the number of elementary school studenｔ students who need special care and support has been increasing, and their disabilities have become more severe and diversified.

In Motoichi, we devise basic guideline to promote special support education in H21 and reflect the approach and problem in the first Yokohama-shi education promotion basic plan (formulated in January 2011), and after that, Until the fourth term (established in February 2013), we have been enhancing special support education through each initiative, but in the process of formulating the software, we have improved the content related to special support education and staff.

Therefore, the Yokohama City Special Needs Education Promotion Guidelines were formulated in March 2024 to share the aim of special support education in Motoichi with faculty and staff, parents, related organizations and organizations, and to provide "rich learning" according to the educational needs of each elementary school studenｔ student.

　About Yokohama-shi special support education promotion guideline (draft), we carried out citizen opinion offer in November, 2023 and had 267 opinions including group, round-table conference opinion. Thank you very much for your valuable comments.
　As we summarized conduct result and way of thinking as city for opinion, we announce.
　The opinions received will be used as a reference when formulating the original draft, and will be used as a reference for future projects and initiatives.
