About way of thinking about maintenance of special support school in Yokohama-shi

　Based on the concept of building an inclusive education system in the city of Yokohama, we aim to maximize our potential by providing appropriate guidance and support to all elementary school studenｔ students at all educational venues in accordance with the educational needs of each elementary school studenｔ student. In March 2018, "Yokohama Education Vision 2030", which shows the philosophy and direction of education in Yokohama City, and in December, the "3rd Yokohama City Educational Promotion Basic Plan" as an action plan to embody the vision (Heisei 30-Ryowa 4). We are working to build a variety of learning opportunities for all infant elementary school studenｔ students to learn with peace of mind, provide support to elementary school studenｔ students who need special support in general classes, provide education in individual classes according to disability characteristics, enhance special support schools, and enhance special support education consultation systems. Special support schools are the cornerstone of these various learning places and form the foundation of special support education in Motoichi. In fiscal 2021, the environment surrounding special needs schools has changed significantly, including the promulgation of the "Special Support School Establishment Standards", the publication of the "Kanagawa Special Needs Education Promotion Guidelines", and the enforcement of the "Law Concerning Support for Medical Care Children and their families". Therefore, from such a situation, we arranged correspondence in Motoichi and devised in March, 2023 as "thought about maintenance of Yokohama-shi special support school".
