１. 2024 Yokohama-shi nursery school usage guidance (please read when applying)

（２） Documents proving that childcare is required (in the case of employment)

Nursery schools can download "work certificate" for payment authorization, use application from about employment certificate to submit to Yokohama-shi (2024) and distribute in ward offices.

●Employment certificate is a style for those who wish to use a nursery school, etc., to prove the working situation.
●If you are employed, please get a certificate from the company.
●Please tell the person in charge of the company so that you can make sure to check the work certificate to be submitted to Yokohama City (2024).
●Please be sure to check the usage guide when applying for use.

About the creation of a work certificate

If a work certificate with the name of the company is created or modified without permission, the benefit certification and use (including a job offer) may be canceled as if the application content is false. . In this case, if it is deemed that it falls under the constituent requirements of a forgery of a private document, a modification of a sealed private document, or an illegal production of personal electromagnetic records, it is considered that each offense may be established.

<Positive handling of children such as nursery teachers＞
Yokohama City is promoting the maintenance of childcare facilities and businesses as measures for waiting-list children, and securing childcare human resources has become an urgent issue.
Since it is considered that it is difficult to secure childcare human resources for children such as nursery teachers who work at nursery schools in Yokohama City because it is considered that it is difficult to secure childcare human resources. Handling has been introduced, and the handling will be expanded as follows since the application for use in April 2024.
●Priority treatment for raising ranks by two
●Review of working days and hours requirements for nursery teacher rank (A)
●Nursery teachers living outside the city will be treated in the same way as those living in the city (even in April, they will be subject to primary use adjustment (*))
　※When applying for the primary application, be sure to indicate that you are eligible for the primary application of Yokohama when applying to the municipality where you currently live.

<Changes in the working situation after entering a nursery school>
If you apply priority treatment and enter a nursery school, etc., we ask that you continue to work at a nursery school in the city during the period of use of your child's nursery school. If there is a change in the working situation, be sure to notify us as follows.
●Those living in the city
　Please submit certification change application to ward office Children and Families Support Division of ward where nursery schools using is located.
●Those who live outside the city
　Please report the employment certificate (*) that shows the change in the working situation to the ward office Children and Families Support Division of the ward where the nursery school is located.
　※If you have not been re-employed after retiring from a nursery school, please contact the ward office Children and Families Support Division of the ward where your nursery school is located.

（7） Those who wish to prove that they are on hold.

When applying for childcare leave benefits, etc., you may need "documents proving that you could not enter a nursery school."
In Yokohama-shi, we apply for the use of nursery schools and issue "holding letter of advice" to those who have been put on hold. If you need to prove that you are on hold and need proof that you are still on hold, you will be issued a separate "holding certificate". If you wish, please submit the "Preservation Certificate Grant Application" to the ward office Children and Families Support Division of your ward.
