[Start of use in FY2024] Online application for use of daycare centers

About use application of authorized nursery school in Yokohama-shi, we can apply online using my number card. (For application for use in April 2025, please refer to "[Start use in April 2025] Online application for use of nursery schools, etc.")

1. Procedures for online application (applicable persons)

It can be used if both of the following apply.

  • The applicant (guardian of payment authorization) is registered as a resident in Yokohama City.

  • Apply for a new application for the use of licensed nursery schools in Yokohama City (use of facilities outside Yokohama City, such as those who are applying within the fiscal year or changes in application details, is not eligible).

When applying, please check the usage guidance for nursery schools in the year you apply in advance (posting page: For those who wish to use nursery schools in 2024).

[Please be careful] We do not support online applications in the following cases. It will be handled by the ward office Children and Families Support Division window or by mail.

  1. When applying for use in a nursery school outside Yokohama City (it is not applicable when applying in conjunction with a garden in Yokohama City)
  2. Application for use other than licensed nursery schools (kindergarten, Yokohama nursery room, etc.)
  3. Those who have already applied (changes / corrections to submitted content, applications for pending corrections, etc.)
  4. Application by proxy

2.What you prepare before proceeding with the online application

①Certificates according to the reasons for needing childcare and household conditions

②My number card and PIN of applicant (person who becomes benefit authorization protector)

  • When applying online, an electronic signature using My Number Card is required.
  • If you do not know your digital signature password, please contact your ward office Family Registry Division.

3.Acceptance Period

It is determined by the month in which you wish to start using. Please confirm "use guidance such as Yokohama-shi nursery schools" (it is the same as reception period of mail and application at window).
For online applications, those uploaded (submission of application data) by 23:59 on the application deadline are valid.

[Please be careful]

  1. It takes time to enter the application form because there are many items. In addition, we are not responsible for any failures when transmitting data, so please allow sufficient time before the deadline, including preparations for required documents (PDF and image data).
  2. You may be contacted by the ward office Children and Families Support Division of your ward regarding your application details.
  3. Basically, it is accepted 24 hours a day, but this does not apply if the system has been suspended due to maintenance or other reasons. Since the national system (minor portal) is used, please check the mental health information etc. on the minor portal.
  4. We have not received an email from Yokohama City. By registering your e-mail address at the time of online application, you will receive an e-mail from the minor portal (automatic delivery). If you have set up domain-specific reception, please specify so that you can receive mail from "@mail.oss.myna.go.jp".
  5. The date and time of the online application (send) and the details of the application can be confirmed with a copy of the data downloaded to a PC or smartphone. Be sure to download a copy of the sent (application) data (you can save it from the "Download a copy" button on the application completion page).

4.Procedures after online application

The application data will be sent to the ward office Children and Families Support Division of the ward office where the applicant resides, and theattached documents will be checked.

  • Basically, we do not contact you by e-mail regarding the receipt of the application or progress. If there are any deficiencies or shortages in the application details or documents to be submitted, the ward office Children and Families Support Division will contact you by mail or telephone.
  • You cannot change or withdraw your application details on the minor portal. For procedures, please contact the ward office Children and Families Support Division of your ward (application ward).

The results of the usage adjustment will be notified by telephone or mail from the ward office Children and Families Support Division of your ward (or the ward where the nursery school you have decided to use) at the end of the month before the desired month. We will not send you the usage adjustment results from the minor portal.

5.Notes

  1. When applying for a sibling child, the benefit-certified guardian must be the same (eg, the brother and brother's benefit-certified guardian cannot be divided into mothers and fathers).
  2. Please be careful not to apply online twice. If you send the application data twice by mistake, proceed with the procedure using the data sent earlier. A separate procedure will be required for amendments, so please contact the ward office Children and Families Support Division of your ward office.
  3. Please be careful not to make any mistakes in the names, dates of birth and Address of parents, elementary school student, and cohabitants. Based on this information, we confirm the contents of the application.
  4. Please enter your name in the same notation as resident certificate. However, if you cannot enter kanji written in resident certificate, enter it in common kanji.
  5. Please confirm in advance that the contents of the attached documents data can be clearly read and that the entire document is shown.

"Checklist before Online Application"

  1. The applicant isresident certificate in Yokohama.
  2. It is application for use of authorized nursery school in Yokohama-shi.
  3. Currently, we are not applying for a nursery school (we are on hold in the same year and are not on transfer).
  4. This application is within the application period of the month you wish to use.
  5. We have confirmed information on how to use nursery schools, etc. in the year in which we apply, and have compiled data with required documents.
  6. Regarding attached documents data, we have confirmed that the entire document is shown and the contents (print) are read.
  7. You have already installed the minor portal app, and you have already grasped the password for the electronic signature.
  8. I know the name of the cohabitants and my number.

Can I do the procedure without my number card? Do I need a minor portal app again?

・Online application has an electronic signature (public personal authentication), so you need a My Number card of the guardian who applies. Before you start your online application, please check your My Number Card password. In addition, you will need to install a minor portal app.
・For children and spouses, entry of My Number is required, but a My Number Card is not required.

I forgot my password (password) on my number card. What should I do?
A

In application for use such as nursery schools, my number card and the password are necessary for electronic signature.
If you forget your password, please contact the ward office Family Registry Division of your ward office.

Are the documents to be submitted for online application and paper application different?
A

Is the type of file that can be attached determined?

It is possible to submit in Word, Excel format, etc., but PDF data (photo (image) data (jpeg, png, etc.) if not possible) is recommended because it may not be confirmed in Yokohama City depending on the software or version used. doing. attached documents's size (capacity) exceeds 9MB. What should I do?
A

If you exceed 9MB even if you change the file size, please submit about the amount exceeding 9MB in [Yokohama-shi electronic application, report system (outside site)].

How can I save it temporarily? Also, there was an error when it was restarted. How do I do it?
A

Please refer to "Usage of temporary storage data (PDF: 505KB)" for the temporary storage function of the minor portal and the response to an error message when restarting.
※After reopening, we have confirmed the event that an error message "Please enter required items" for items that are not applicable to the applicant.
※If you have applied for data (if you proceed to the final page (electronic authentication), the reopening function is not available.

When I tried to select the facility I would like to use, the name of the garden was not listed in the option. What should I do?
A

If the garden name is changed or in the case of a new garden, it may not be reflected in the option. Please follow the steps below.
①Make sure that the ward where the facility is located is not wrong.
②Select the old garden name (or manually enter in other fields).
※Please be careful not to select another garden with a similar garden name.
※Facilities outside Yokohama cannot be entered. If you wish to apply for a nursery school outside the city, please submit the application documents to the ward office Children and Families Support Division office in your ward instead of online application.

I applied for the wrong content. Can I make corrections and changes online?

Amendments to the application details cannot be made by online application (minor portal). Please contact Children and Families Support Division of the ward office of the applicantAddress.

A

The submission method is based on the guidance of the ward office Children and Families Support Division of the ward to which you wish to apply.
When you guide presentation by "Yokohama-shi electronic application, report system", please submit from [Yokohama-shi electronic application, report system (outside site)].
※Documents to be submitted will be converted into data into PDF files, etc. and attached (uploaded) in the same way as the application for use from the minor portal.
