[Use in April 2025 (primary application)] The application acceptance period has ended. Applications for secondary applications will start on Monday, January 6, 2025. (For applications for use from November 2024 to March 2024, please refer to "[Start of use in 2024] Online application for use of nursery schools.")

1.Procedures for online application

It can be used if both of the following apply.

  • The applicant (guardian of payment authorization) is registered as a resident in Yokohama City.
  • About the use of authorized nursery schools in Yokohama-shi, we apply again.

Please confirm "use guidance such as Yokohama-shi nursery schools" beforehand (publication page: to one hoped for the use of nursery schools in 2025).

2.Procedures for which you cannot apply online

We do not support online applications in the following cases. It will be handled by the ward office Children and Families Support Division window or by mail.

  1. Application for use to nursery schools outside Yokohama City (not applicable when applying in conjunction with a garden in Yokohama City)
  2. Application for use to non-nursery schools, such as kindergartens and Yokohama nursery rooms.
  3. Those who have already applied (changes, corrections, etc. of submitted content)
  4. Application for use of pre-birth children
  5. Application by proxy

3.Environment for Online Application

The applicant's (person who becomes a payment authorization guardian)'s My Number Card and the PIN of the digital certificate are required.
If you do not know your PIN, please contact your ward office Family Registry Division.

4.Documents to be attached with data when applying online

Documents according to the reasons for needing childcare and the situation of the household will be converted into data (PDF) and attached when applying online.

  • Certificates should be converted into PDF (if not possible, converted into image data), the total file size should be "9MB or less", and attached when applying online.
  • It is necessary to create and attach payment authorization application (A), use application (B), my number entry document (D), identity verification document, submission document confirmation slip (Kaneshige required matter confirmation slip), and reply envelope There is no.
  • If the contents cannot be confirmed, such as when the image data is black or some of the documents are missing, it may be disadvantageous for benefit certification and usage adjustment. Please confirm in advance that the contents of the attached documents data are clearly read, that the entire document is shown, and that there is no omission.

5.Please be careful when applying online.

  • It takes about 40 to 60 minutes to complete the application form. In addition, since the time will be out if there is no operation for a certain period of time, please make sure that there are no omissions in the preparation of required documents (PDF, image data) or the entry of the employment certificate before starting the input.
  • Basically, it is accepted 24 hours a day, but this does not apply if the system is stopped due to maintenance or other reasons. Since the national system (minor portal) is used, please check the mental health information etc. on the minor portal.
  • After the application is completed, an automatic reply e-mail will be sent from the minor portal to the e-mail address entered at the time of application. We will guide you to important news from Yokohama City, so please enter an e-mail address that can receive e-mail reliably.

*If you have set up domain-specific reception, please specify so that you can receive mail from "@mail.oss.myna.go.jp".

*You will receive one e-mail from the minor portal when you enter your e-mail address and two e-mails at the time of application. If you have received an e-mail with the subject "[Minor Portal Perfect Service] Contact of Electronic Application Reception" that arrives at the time of application (when you proceed to "electronic signature and application"), the application has arrived in Yokohama City .

*We will not notify you that the application has been accepted from Yokohama City because the reception will be confirmed by e-mail of the automatic reply from the minor portal. In addition, we cannot answer confirmation of "whether the application has arrived" over the phone.

  • Please be sure to download the application data (copy) when you apply. The date and time of application (send) and details of the application can be confirmed with the downloaded data. However, attached documents (work certificate, etc.) cannot be downloaded, so please keep the data attached at the time of application.

*When extending childcare leave benefits, you need a printed copy of the application (application data (copy)).

  • When applying for a sibling child, the benefit-certified guardian must be the same (eg, the brother and brother's benefit-certified guardian cannot be divided into mothers and fathers).
  • Please be careful not to send it twice. If you send the application data twice by mistake, proceed with the procedure using the data sent earlier. Please contact your ward office Children and Families Support Division as additional procedures will be required for amendments.
  • Please prepare the "Yokohama City Nursery School Usage Guide" and "Work Certificate" at hand and enter it.

6.Procedures after online application

The application data will be sent to the ward office Children and Families Support Division of the ward office where the applicant resides, and theattached documents will be checked.

  • The text of the e-mail with the subject "[Minor Portal Perfect Service] Contact of Electronic Application Reception" that arrives when you apply (when you proceed to "electronic signature and apply") ([Important news from Yokohama City]) Information on the flow of procedures after application and how to change the application details (link to PDF file) is posted. (Change or withdrawal of application details cannot be made at the minor portal.)
  • If there are any deficiencies or shortages in the application details or submitted documents, the ward office Children and Families Support Division will contact you by e-mail or telephone.

By early February, the results of the usage adjustment will be notified by mail from the ward office Children and Families Support Division of your ward (or the ward where the nursery school you have decided to use is located). We will not send you the usage adjustment results from the minor portal.

7.About input of employment situation, etc.

If the reason for the need for childcare is "work" or "continuation of use during childcare leave", enter the contents (employment period, working hours, number of working days, etc.) described in the "work certificate". Before proceeding to the entry, be sure to make sure that there is no omission in the employment certificate, and if there is any unlisted, ask the employer to fill it out.

In the following cases, the ward office Children and Families Support Division may contact you and resubmit your employment certificate.

  • When working hours, etc. are entered even though they are not listed on the employment certificate.
  • When the contents described in the employment certificate are different from the entered contents.

  3. Currently, we are not applying for a nursery school (we are on hold in the same year and are not on transfer).
  4. This application is within the application period of the month you wish to use.
  5. We have confirmed information on how to use nursery schools, etc. in the year in which we apply, and have compiled data with required documents.
  6. Regarding attached documents data, we have confirmed that the entire document is shown and the contents (print) are read.
  7. You have already installed the minor portal app and have already known the password for the electronic signature.

Can't I apply without my number card? Do I need a minor portal app again?

・Online application has an electronic signature (public personal authentication), so you need a My Number card of the guardian who applies. Before starting an online application, check the PIN on your My Number Card. In addition, you will need to install a minor portal app.
・For children and spouses, input of my number is required, but a My Number card is not required.

In application for use such as nursery schools, personal identification number of my number card and digital certificate are necessary for electronic signature.

At the bottom of the page you are applying for, there is a button called "Temporarily Save Application Data".

For the first application data downloaded, you can use a csv file with the procedure name to apply for siblings.

③When calling the saved data, it is called by specifying the csv file.
④When the application is resumed, the first input screen will be displayed with the "application details of the first elementary school student" already entered. Change your name, date of birth, etc. to the content of the second person elementary school student.

Attached files such as employment certificates must be attached again.
If there is a related question, the correction button on the "Input Confirmation Screen" may not be able to correct the related part.
Example: If the upper child is relocated, the lower child is a new entrance, and the upper child is a temporary storage data is used for the lower child.
With the "Correction" button, you cannot delete facility information before relocation.
In this case, return to the page of the relevant item with the "Back" button at the bottom of the page and re-enter it.

I would like to check the date and time of the online application (send) and the details of the application. What should I do?

In addition to confirming by e-mail automatically delivered from the minor portal, data downloaded to PCs and smartphones can be downloaded. ※But you can check it.
The date and time of application is printed on the top right of the application data copy. Be careful not to forget to download the application data at the time of application (you can save the data on your PC or smartphone from the "Download a copy" button on the application completion page).

When I tried to select the facility I would like to use, the name of the garden was not listed in the option. What should I do?
A

New nursery schools, etc., whose name changes in the new fiscal year, may not be reflected in the options.
Please check the following procedure and enter it by hand.
①Make sure that the ward where the facility is located is not wrong.
②In the case of changing the garden name, select the old garden name (or manually enter the garden name in other fields).
※Please be careful not to select another garden with a similar garden name.
※Facilities outside Yokohama cannot be entered. If you wish to apply for a nursery school outside the city, please submit the application documents to the ward office Children and Families Support Division office in your ward instead of online application.

Enter the employment start date (employment date, business start date), working hours, and number of working days as described in the employment certificate.
① If there is any omission in the employment certificate, you will not be able to enter the required items on the minor portal and the procedure will not be possible. Before starting the entry, check the employment certificate, and if there are any missing or unclear points, ask the employer to add or recreate it.
② If the contents of the employment certificate do not match the entered contents, the application process will not be advanced. Be sure to enter the same contents (number of working days, hours, etc.) as the contents of the employment certificate.
