In order to save lives from a major earthquake that can occur anywhere and anytime, we will conduct shakeout training that anyone can easily do. Take this opportunity to take it at home and at work and think about preparing for an earthquake.

Contents: In line with the broadcast of the Earthquake Early Warning sound for training, we will take action to protect yourself from the earthquake on the spot.
The Kohoku Ward Office plans to conduct a shakeout training at 9:45 on Friday, September 27, 2024. We have you understand conduct of training, and please come to the agency by all means.

Genroku era Kanto Earthquake: A magnitude 8.1 earthquake with the epicenter along the Sagami Trough. The seismic intensity forecast in Kohoku Ward is based on a seismic intensity of 5 to 7.

Port North Shakeout! Why don't you reconsider the preparation for the earthquake once again in line with the implementation of the earthquake? Please take a look at the information useful for preparing for an earthquake. We will also actively participate in local disaster drill and use it as an opportunity to understand how to operate evacuation centers and to connect with local people.
