About earthquake damage assumption of Yokohama-shi

It is important to anticipate the impact of a major earthquake in advance when considering reduce disaster damage's actions. So what is the lesson of the Great East Japan Earthquake?
Based on new scientific knowledge and accumulated earthquake-related data, discussions were held with academics and public utilities operators to create new earthquake hazards.

Earthquakes to be assumed

In the earthquake damage estimation, we assumed four earthquakes.

●Genroku era Kanto Earthquake
About twice as much energy as the Taisho-type Kanto Earthquake that caused the Great Kanto Earthquake.
It is an assumed earthquake of magnitude 8.1 that emits ruggy. City
The maximum seismic intensity is assumed to be 7.

●Nankai Trough Giant Earthquake
The Cabinet Office has also taken up a large tsunami.
This is an assumed earthquake of Gunitude 9 class.

●Northern Tokyo Bay Earthquake
Mag which is said to have an extremely large impact in the Tokyo metropolitan area including the city.
This is an assumed earthquake of Nitude 7.3.

●Keicho era earthquake
Fiscal 2011 as a result of a major tsunami to Tokyo Bay.
This is an assumed earthquake set by Kanagawa Prefecture.
At high tide, the city of Yokohama will be flooded up to about 4.9 meters above sea level.
It is assumed that it will be.
