What is HIV/AIDS?
HIV is Human Immunodeficiency Virus (human immunodeficiency virus).
AIDS is a disease caused by HIV infection, but it does not mean "HIV = AIDS".
Infection with HIV, the function of immunity is reduced, making it easier for pathogens that are not normally infected, causing various diseases.
The condition of this disease is called AIDS (Accquired Immuno-Deficiency Syndrome, Acquired Immuno-Deficiency Syndrome).
Twenty-three typical diseases are defined, and when they develop, AIDS is diagnosed. At present, various therapeutic drugs are available, and proper medication is becoming possible to prevent the onset of AIDS.
Influenza-like symptoms may appear within a few weeks after HIV infection, but after that there is no symptom-free period lasts about 5 to 10 years, so there is a risk of spreading the infection without notice .
Process of HIV infection
The main route of infection is.
①Infection by sexual activity
②Infection through blood
③Mother-to-child transmission from mother to baby
That's right.
HIV is weak infectivity and does not spread in daily life other than sexual activity.

Reports of syphilis patients are increasing throughout the country.
The number of syphilis patients in Yokohama are common in their 20s and 40s, and the proportion of men is large.
However, there are many reports of women in their twenties.
Even if you do not have any symptoms, you may be infected. I'll have a test.
