Information on Friendship Committee for Sister Cities

Yokohama City has a sister city tie-up with eight overseas cities, and a “Friendship Committee” has been established for each city. The Friendship Committee aims to deepen mutual understanding with each sister city at the citizen level and promote friendship. We carry out international exchange business. In addition, anyone can participate in each friendship committee if they can pay the annual membership fee (even if they live outside the city).

No enrollment fee
Annual membership fee (for each Friendship Committee)
Individual members 2,000 yen
Corporate members 5,000 yen (10,000 yen in Shanghai only)
