The National Junior High School Human Rights Essay Contest is held by the Ministry of Justice with the aim of helping junior high school students, who will be responsible for the next generation, to deepen their understanding of the importance of respect for human rights through writing essays on human rights issues and to acquire a rich sense of human rights. This is the 39th this year.
The award ceremony will be held as the highest award and excellence award for the Yokohama City Games of the contest have been decided.
The work that won the highest award at the Yokohama City Games will be recommended as a candidate for the award in the Kanagawa Prefecture Games.
