In Yokohama City, with the aim of accepting foreign human resources and promoting multicultural coexistence, citizen groups and NPOs "promotion of mutual understanding between Japanese and foreigners", "life support for foreign residents", "local Japanese education" We issue subsidies for activities related to "promotion" and "promotion of active participation of foreign residents" (Yokohama City Multicultural Symbiosis Citizenship Support Project: implemented from 2017).
This time, there were four applications as eligible projects, and as a result of the examination, three of them (total of 1,068,118 yen) were decided. Through the business of each organization, we aim to realize a multicultural society rich in diversity and inclusiveness.
