In response to a request from Mayor Odesa at an online meeting between The Mayor of Yokohama Takeharu Yamanaka and Mayor Genedi Turhanovdesa on May 13, Yokohama City provided emergency assistance to mobile water purification equipment.
With the cooperation of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), which has a comprehensive cooperation agreement, a mobile water purification device sent from Narita Airport arrived in Odesa on July 19 (local time).
In the future, Odesa citizens will use it in the future.
