The city of Odesa, a sister city of Yokohama, is facing a risk that water supply facilities may be shut down due to Russia's invasion, making it impossible to supply water to citizens.
Therefore, as an emergency support, Yokohama City has decided to provide 33 mobile water purification equipment to Odesa City. Of these, 11 mobile water purification equipment were donated by JFE Engineering Co., Ltd.
Takeharu Yamanaka, The Mayor of Yokohama, will present a letter of appreciation for this kind of kindness.
