From Monday, November 7 to Wednesday, November 9, U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Granddy
Mr. Filippo GRANDI, The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) will visit Japan for the purpose of sharing information and exchanging opinions on the current situation and response to the growing refugee crisis around the world, and to strengthen cooperation between Japan and the UNHCR.
On Monday, November 7, UN High Commissioner for Refugees Grand Dy will visit Yokohama as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation with Japanese local governments, and exchange views on multicultural coexistence measures and leadership of local governments in the international community through a meeting with Vice-Chairperson The Mayor of Yokohama Yokohama City Council. In addition, at the Yokohama City Council Capitol, a lecture will be held for city council members and city officials.
