By supporting demonstration experiments through "ITOP Yokohama," Yokohama City is working to improve productivity, contribute to solving social issues, and creating new business models by utilizing advanced technologies such as IoT and AI.
Continental Automotive Co., Ltd. has installed a sensor (radar camera) for traffic flow observation at the intersection and analyzes the data obtained there, "intelligent Intersection" to analyze the data obtained there. Demonstration experiment in the Minato Mirai 21 district.
In the future, if it is possible to notify pedestrians and vehicles of danger through optical and sound devices linked to sensors based on the analyzed data, the safety of both walkers and vehicles will be increased, We can expect to reduce traffic accidents at intersections.
