[Press Release] Support for the first time by eight companies such as environmental and IT companies

In order to promote the concentration of companies in growth fields such as the environment and energy, IT, health and medical care, the Yokohama City's Business Location Incentive Program for Growth Industries supports the expansion of its headquarters and research institutes.
In FY2022, we supported a total of eight companies in Yokohama, including companies engaged in the development of next-generation semiconductors and environmentally friendly materials, system software development, and food analysis.
Yokohama is home to 27 universities, with the largest number of academic and R & D institutions, engineers and researchers is the largest among government-designated cities, and cooperation among companies is also active, creating an environment that creates innovation.
By disseminating such an excellent business environment both in Japan and overseas, and utilizing this support system, we will promote the accumulation of companies that can expect significant growth in the future, such as decarbonization and DX, and aim for the sustainable development of the Yokohama economy.
