[Press Release] Supporting the first entry of eight companies, including the environment and IT.

In order to promote the concentration of companies in growing fields such as the environment and energy, IT, health and medical care, the Yokohama City's Business Location Incentive Program for Growth Industries is supporting the expansion of head office and research institutes.
In fiscal 2022, we supported a total of eight companies engaged in the development of next-generation semiconductors and environmentally friendly materials, the development of system software, and food analysis, and the expansion of city research institutes.
Yokohama is home to 27 universities, with the largest number of academic and R&D institutions, engineers and researchers among government-designated cities, with active cooperation among companies, creating an environment for creating innovation.
We will disseminate such an excellent business environment both in Japan and overseas, and utilize this support system to promote the accumulation of companies that can expect significant growth in the future, such as decarbonization and DX, to achieve sustainable development of the Yokohama economy.
