Collaborate with the Amelias program to foster female entrepreneurs with the aim of creating innovation from a global perspective

Yokohama City has signed a partnership agreement with Women’s Startup Lab Impact Foundation Japan, which has a proven track record in Silicon Valley, to support female entrepreneurs.
This time, Women’s Startup Lab Impact Foundation Japan will launch a new Japanese female entrepreneur development program with a view to the world, under the name of Amelias. In this program, the two parties will collaborate to hold a program for high school girls at YOXO BOX, a start-up growth base in Yokohama. In addition, a program held in Tokyo for female entrepreneurs aiming to become a global success, we will set up a framework for those who live in Yokohama, attend school, work, or have registered offices in the city to participate.
The city has been supporting women's entrepreneurs by opening women-only share offices, setting up contact points for expert consultation, and promoting in cooperation with department stores in the city. Through this program, we aim to foster an environment where active female entrepreneurs can fly from Yokohama to the world and to contribute to the creation of an ecosystem that supports Japanese female entrepreneurs in Japan.
