"Kita Terao 6-chome Samuel Park" will be fully opened!

　Yokohama City has adopted the "Yokohama Green Tax" in order to stop the decline in greenery and pass on the "green town Yokohama" to the next generation.
We are promoting the Yokohama Green Up Plan (2024-2028) while utilizing it for some of the financial resources.
　This time, "symbol-like green creation and upbringing business" is one of the initiatives to create and nurture greenery in the town.
Utilizing, a part of the land that had been the peeling of the town, has been maintained as "Kita Terao 6-chome Samuel Park".
　It will be fully opened on Monday, July 29, 2024, and the opening ceremony will be held by the local community from 10:00 on the day.　

１. Kitaderao 6-chome Samuel Park
（１） Characteristics of the park
　　　It has been maintained as a park that inherited the existing harappa and landscape and left valuable grassland. It is a park that can be used as a place for disasters and for local communities.

(2) Details of the park

　①Location 6-848-11, Kitaterao, Tsurumi-ku

　②Park type block park

　③Park area 2,151㎡

　④The main facilities are lappa, manhole toilets (underground sewer pipes only, no water purification tank)

　　　　　　　Bench, drinking water, furnace bench

　　　　　　　※Manhole toilets and furnace benches will be used mainly by the locals in the event of a disaster.

２. About Yokohama green up plan [2024-2028]

　Yokohama City is a big city, but it has a variety of greenery, such as many forest areas and agricultural land, in places close to civil life.

In order to pass on these greens to the next generation, as a priority initiative under the Yokohama City Water and Green Basic Plan, since 2009 (2009).

We are promoting the "Yokohama Green Up Plan" that utilized "Yokohama Green Tax" as part of financial resources.

３. About symbolic green creation and development business

　　　By seizing opportunities such as land use conversion, securing land and creating a green space in a place where many citizens can see it.
　　It will lead to the charm of the city and the creation of bustle. Including Kita Terao 6-chome Samuel Park, which will be opened this time, a total of five locations have been maintained so far.
