Temporary use certification

In the temporary use certification system for buildings under construction, after restricting the use of buildings until receiving an inspection certificate as a rule, certain conditions (specified administrative agencies, building managers, or designated confirmation inspection organizations) ) Can be used temporarily under safety, fire prevention, or evacuation.
In addition, target of temporary use authorization is building from law Article 6 Clause 1 1 to 3.

※Regarding the provisional use certification system, Law No. 54 of 2014. According to the "Revised Building Standards Law", from the enforcement on June 1, 2015, it will be possible to certify even designated confirmation inspection organizations. Application destination

In the case of construction such as extension and construction related to evacuation facilities, etc., it is necessary to apply for temporary use certification to a specific administrative agency, except in the case of construction specified by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (Article 4 of the Building Standards Law Enforcement Regulations) See Paragraph 16, Paragraph 3).

The following constructions are stipulated as constructions such as extensions that can be certified for temporary use by designated confirmation inspection organizations.

  • Construction work that meets the following requirements
  • Construction (limited to those pertaining to temporary use) for evacuation facilities, etc. must be completed before applying for temporary use certification.
  • Do not include construction related to evacuation facilities, etc. pertaining to parts other than the part pertaining to the extension.
  • All renovation work
  • When a building is divided by a wall with an independent structure without an opening, all renovation of the divided part.
