Outline of the System
The first-class and second-class (excluding 150%) low-rise residential areas (maximum first-class altitude districts) are areas established to protect the environment of good housing pertaining to low-rise houses. The height of buildings is limited to 10 meters, but by the provisions of Article 55, Paragraph 2 of the Building Standards Law and the Notification of the altitude District Notification, there is no danger of harming the environment of good housing in the surrounding low-rise residential areas. Only when it is recognized as the building 12 meters, if it is possible.
