Hodogaya fire brigade was established in 1942 as the Hodogaya Police Corps, and after reviewing the systems and regulations, it became the current Hodogaya fire brigade in March 1948.
Hodogaya fire brigade has four branches under the fire brigade headquarters in the entire area of Hodogaya Ward.
The first branch in the south is responsible for the area from Setogaya to Imaimachi and from Gontazaka to Shin-Sakuragaoka, and is an area where many historical assets that tell the old post town are concentrated.
The second branch on the east side covers the area from Miyata-cho to Hoshikawa and Godo-cho to Minezawacho, has the famous Matsubara shopping street, and is rich in transportation and highly convenient.
The third branch on the Kitakata area has a long and narrow area from Bukkoucho to Tokiwadai.
The fourth branch on the west side is long and narrow from Kawajima-cho to Kamisugeda-cho, and is responsible for the area across Nishiyamachi, and is a green area.
