　In order to protect the town of Hodogaya, the self support, which protects one's own lives, the community support, and the government support, which is supported by public institutions, is important, and the fire brigade connects these chains, and we believe it is necessary to continue to enhance and strengthen the fire brigade.
　In December 2013, the fire brigade enacted a law on enhancing and strengthening regional disaster prevention capabilities centered on the fire brigade. In order to strengthen the fire brigade, the government and local governments have been working to enhance and improvefire brigade's treatment, equipment, and education and training.
　In close cooperation with the Hodogaya fire department, Hodogaya fire brigade will continue to maintain a membership satisfaction rate of 100%, conduct training mainly for young members, train leaders, handle equipment and materials, and conduct long-distance water transmission training from Katabira River in cooperation with neighboring fire brigade in anticipation of a major fire.

As a measure to revitalize Hodogaya fire brigade, we have established four committees to enhance fire brigade activities.

First aid instructors will play a central role in holding and supporting emergency rescue training, advanced lifesaving training, ordinary lifesaving training, training of first aid instructors, etc. to enhance emergency rescue activities.

Through annual publication of public relations papers, event publicity, website editing and various events, we will promote attractive fire brigade both inside and outside the country and promote the joining of new members.

We will examine the ideal way of training, how to proceed, and the content of the training while incorporating opinions and requests, and reflect them in the training of all fire brigade employees.

Improve safety measures by properly lending and managing clothing and equipment necessary for the activities of members.

Hodogaya fire brigade was established in 1942 as the Hodogaya Police Department, and after reviewing systems and regulations, it became the current Hodogaya fire brigade in March 1948.
Hodogaya fire brigade has four branches under the headquarters of fire brigade in the entire Hodogaya Ward area, divided into east, west, north and south.
The first branch on the southern side is responsible for the area from Setogaya to Imaimachi and Gontazaka to Shin-Sakuragaoka, and is an area where many historical assets that tell the old post town are accumulated.
The second branch on the east side is responsible for the area from Miyata-cho to Hoshikawa / Kobe-cho to Minezawa-cho, has the famous Matsubara shopping street, and is rich in transportation and highly convenient.
The third branch on the Kitakata side has a long and narrow area from Bukkoucho to Tokiwadai, north and south.
The fourth branch on the west side is elongated from north to south from Kawajima-cho to Kamisugedacho, and is responsible for the area between Nishiyamachi, and is a green area.
