Activity Report
◇Medical rally
Participants were told only that first aid training was conducted in advance without showing any training assumptions, and based on the situation on the spot, training was conducted to respond flexibly. (Blind-type training)
The daily practice results of the members were greatly demonstrated.
After the training, the fire department's emergency commander gave a look back and advice, and it was a good training.
◇Equipment handling training STEP2
In order to improve the basic skills of fire brigade members and ensure that all members can handle the equipment safely and reliably, training was conducted for those with little experience in fire brigade.
Under the training instructor, hydraulic jacks, portable winches, and hydraulic cutting machines were trained according to each rescue assumption.
◇Training instructor skills improvement training
We conducted skill improvement training for training instructors who are in charge of training in fire brigade.
Through practical training, opinions were exchanged across each branch.
◇Institutional Department
Training was provided to members who drive fire brigade loading vehicles on emergency driving during disasters and related laws and regulations.
In the event of a disaster, it was necessary to run emergency and head to the site, and to perform safe and prompt operation from pump operation to water discharge, so we conducted operation technology training and portable pump operation training.
◇Training for New Members and Resignation Ceremony
In April and October, fire brigade welcomed a new member of the Fire Department and issued a resignation to each individual. After giving resignations to new members, they conducted basic training such as hose extension and training ceremony to learn the basics of fire brigade.
◇Training for handling chainsaws, etc.
An external lecturer was invited to conduct training specializing in chainsaws.
We invited Shinko Co., Ltd., which sells and rents construction equipment in Totsuka Ward.
Through the inspection of equipment and materials conducted on a regular basis, such as “chain features” and “the impact of fuel nature on equipment and materials, the training deepened the perspective of the protection of equipment and materials by the participants.
◇Joint storm and flood damage countermeasures training
Prior to the typhoon season, fire brigade Tozuka and Totsuka fire department jointly conducted drills to combat storms and floods.
In the event of a disaster, it is important to receive and transmit information.
In the training assuming a real disaster, both unfamiliar people and veterans actively communicated and handled disaster cases.
It is a training that allows you to know how firefighting responds in the event of a large-scale disaster.
◇Training using buildings to be demolished
I rented a building to be dismantled in Totsuka Ward and conducted training that I couldn't usually do.
It is difficult to train outside of actual battles, such as opening doors using engine cutters and expansion using hydraulic rescue equipment, so I am very grateful to have such opportunities.
(* We are looking for buildings to be dismantled that can be trained. Please give us information to Totsuka fire department.
◇Equipment handling training STEP1
We are working to effectively improve disaster response capabilities through training that matches the level of each member.
This is the basic handling training of engine cutters, chainsaws, and hydraulic rescue equipment.
They used equipment to actually cut logs and pipes, and to lift heavy objects.
◇Training for Female Members
More than 100 female members are active in Tozuka fire brigade.
This time, we conducted training ceremonies, hose handling, rope tying, and standpipes (initial-stage fire-fighting techniques. equipment) for female fire brigade staff only for those who have few years of experience or want to reconfirm the basic contents.
