Introduction of fire brigade Aoba

fire brigade Kawawa was established on March 7, 1948 in accordance with the fire brigade Ordinance of Yokohama, with the integration of Kawawa, Nakagawa, Yamauchi, Nakazato, Tana and Shinji Police.
On October 1, 1969, the reorganization of administrative districts of Kohoku Ward and Midori Ward were reorganized into Aoba Ward and Tsuzuki Ward  . On November 6, 1994, the reorganization of Midori Ward and fire brigadeKohoku Ward.
In August 1998, 25 female fire brigade members joined the company, and as of April 2024, 55 female members are present.
