About dad and mom support
Izumi fire brigade supports Daddy Mom, who has little children.
When conducting training at the fire department, you can use childcare services (preschoolers) so that you can work with peace of mind.
Of course, the fire department will also bear the cost of childcare services.
※In the case of children over elementary school age, staff will respond.
In recent years, 43% of the members who have joined the group are women.
Many of them have small children, and we have created an environment where it is easy to participate.
Some of them have joined together with dad and mom.
You can feel free to participate in the training with your child.

Student support
Izumi fire brigade supports the students so that even students can engage in fire brigade activities.
・You will learn about disaster prevention in a fun way and learn well.
・Safety is the top priority. Disaster activities are not required.
・Students are given priority. Please participate in training and training at your convenience.

I will visit Neighborhood Association, the disaster drill of companies and schools to teach you the correct knowledge of disaster prevention and how to use fire extinguisher properly.
In addition, we will provide disaster prevention education according to life stages from kindergartens and nursery schools to the elderly.

Hose handling training
In the event of a fire, use a hose to carry water from a fire hydrant or fire tank to the fire site.

Water discharge training
Water discharge activities necessary for fire extinguishing are carried out in a series of flows.
Using a machine called a portable pump, the pressure is raised to discharge water.
Tying training using ropes
Use ropes to fix and transport objects, and sometimes transport people.
You can learn how to tie properly according to the type and shape of things, and can be used in everyday life.
Driving training
We are improving the driving technology of fire brigade vehicles.

Lifesaving training

Introduction of Izumi fire brigade
In November 1986, as a result of the reorganization of administrative districts, Izumi fire brigade was born from Totsuka Ward at the same time as the division.
In 1996, with the relocation of Izumi fire department to its current location, Izumi fire brigade headquarters was also established.
Izumi fire brigade began hiring female fire brigade employees in fiscal 1998, and many female fire brigade employees are active.
Currently, Izumi Ward residents are engaged in safety and fire prevention and disaster prevention activities day and night by placing 20 equipment storage areas, 20 loading vehicles, 25 portable small power pumps, and other equipment throughout Izumi Ward.
