Information on center recycling (recyclable collection of resources)

What is Center Recycling?

Center recycling is a collection of resources collected by the Resources and Waste Recycling Bureau offices of each ward.
You can bring in recyclables such as recycle paper and plastic containers and packaging. (kitchen garbage, moving garbage, pruned branches, etc.)
At the center recycling venue, we will also provide consultations on garbage and resources. Please feel free to use it!

Reception day and time

Time

From 9 am to 11:30 am, from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm
(Please refrain from during times other than the above, as it may be dangerous because the collection vehicles may be concentrated.)
※Please note that you will not be allowed to bring in after 4pm.

Day of the week

From Monday to Saturday (including public holidays)
※Closed from December 31st to January 3rd. In addition, reception is open until noon on December 30th.

Items to be collected

  1. recycle paper (newspapers, magazines and other papers, cardboard, paper packs)
  2. used cloth (dirty, torn, cotton, futons, wet)
  3. Plastic containers and packaging (with plastic mark)
  4. non-burnable garbage (pottery, glass, fluorescent lamp, soil)
  5. Spray cans (If the contents are left, please contact the office in advance.)
  6. Used Batteries
  7. Cans, bottles, PET bottles
  8. Small metal (the longest part is less than 30 cm)

Items that cannot be collected

The following items cannot be collected by center recycling.

The following collection boxes are also installed for center recycling, so please use them together.

Small home appliance collection box

Products that operate on electricity and batteries less than 30 cm in length that enter the collection box slot (30 cm x 15 cm) of the collection box

Secondary rechargeable batteries (Li-ion) batteries, nickel-hydride (Ni-MH) batteries, nickel-hydride (Ni-Cd) batteries)

When discharging, use tape to insulate it.
[Dangerous] Fires in collection vehicles are occurring frequently! Do not put the battery in "burnable garbage"!
