Environmental learning, waste and resources briefing session

Last Updated February 10, 2024

We conduct various briefings and environmental learning with the aim of correct separation of garbage and reduction of garbage. The content, schedule, time, etc. will be determined based on consultation, so please feel free to contact the office.

dispatch lecture/off site lecture (elementary school)

Please apply from the school.
Due to the collection of household garbage, only Wednesday and Thursday will be implemented.

(1) Learn about garbage and resources (Tsuzuki Office) For 4th grade elementary school students

A collection car is coming to everyone's school!
The staff involved in garbage collection will visit the school and introduce the actual garbage collection work and correct garbage separation through experiences and games. Through the experience of collection work using actual collection vehicles and videos of garbage collection, you can learn how the garbage you put out is collected, learn about the SDGs through garbage, and think about what you can do to create a sustainable society.

※Although the content is assumed for social studies of the fourth grade, it can be implemented after adjusting the content and time in other grades, so please feel free to contact us.

(2) Let's challenge the soil mixing method at school

kitchen garbage and leftovers are mixed with soil to decompose kitchen garbage and promote the use of soil mixing methods to create soil. By practicing the soil mixing method, you can not only reduce waste and reduce food loss, but also work on environmental beautification through soil creation. Environmental activities are possible throughout the year, regardless of grade or age, such as committee activities and PTA activities at elementary school student.
At the office, we follow up on how to proceed with the kitchen garbage Soil Mixing Method.

(3) Conduct food drives to reduce food loss!

Food loss is food that is originally eaten but discarded. Food drive is an activity to bring unused food that cannot be used up at each home and donate it to welfare organizations. By implementing a food drive, you can not only expect a decrease in food loss, but also provide an opportunity to learn about the current state of food loss.
The office provides support from pre-learning to lending of goods (up flags, etc.) at the time of implementation. The collected food will be kept by the office and will be supported by those who need it through the Japan National Council of Social Welfare.

dispatch lecture/off site lecture (nursery schools and kindergartens)

Please apply from the garden.
Due to collection work, implementation is limited to Wednesday and Thursday only.

The staff involved in garbage collection actually visits your kindergarten / nursery school and conducts classes to learn about garbage and resources happily. If gardens are available, demonstrations and experiences of collection work with actual collection vehicles are also possible.
