Tsuzuki 3R (Three R) Classroom

It is a facility where you can enjoy learning about waste reduction and resource recycling. It was opened in 2015 and reopened in April 2021.
Various ideas have been devised, such as three-dimensional exhibitions and quiz corners, so that small children and adults can enjoy and learn about garbage and recycling.

Every Sunday, New Year's holidays (January 31-January 3)

　Topics related to garbage and resources are introduced as needed, such as the relationship between food loss and global warming, and the impact of plastic garbage on the global environment.

Know the correct separation and aim for "Separation Master"! In addition to panels that provide easy-to-understand explanations of separation, the flow of disposal at burnable garbage is introduced in miniatures. There's also a quiz, so please try it.

Is your refrigerator okay?　Open the refrigerator and take a look at some tips to prevent food loss.

How is the collected recyclables recycled?　You can learn about the recycling of plastic bottles and recycle paper. We also introduce a method of mixing kitchen garbage with soil and composting kitchen garbage with the power of microorganisms.

We look back on the history of garbage collection in Yokohama with photographs of those days. In addition to the recycle bin used Showa ◎, photos of precious old collection vehicles are also displayed.
