Ryoke district town development guidelines

Purpose of local community development rules

The purpose is to promote local town development through the appropriate operation of the "Ryoke District Town Development Guidelines" established to maintain and improve the good living environment in this area.



Acts requiring procedures

Acts such as buildings that require procedures based on the ordinance

  1. Building prescribed in Article 2, Item 13 of the Building Standards Act (Act No. 201 of 1950)
  2. Development activities prescribed in Article 4, Paragraph 12 of the City Planning Act (Act No. 100 of 1968), Residential land development prescribed in Article 2, Item 2 of the City Planning Act (Act No. 191 of 1961) Change of land parcel traits
  3. Public works (excluding buildings prescribed in Article 2, Item 1 of the Building Standards Act (hereinafter referred to as “buildings”) The same shall apply hereinafter.) Construction and installation
  4. Changes in appearance of buildings or structures
  5. Changes in use of land or buildings
  6. Planting or logging of wood and bamboo
  7. Outlet of properties
  8. Display of outdoor advertising materials prescribed in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Outdoor Advertising Act (Act No. 189 of 1949) and installation of properties that post outdoor advertising materials

Acts for which procedures are requested within the rules (only procedures to the local community)

  • Repainting the area of approximately 30% or more of the outer wall of the building
  • Construction work that generates large vibration, noise, dust, odor, etc.
  • Others that the town development meeting deems necessary

Procedures for performing acts such as construction

1.Discussion with Ryoke Town Development Association

We submit required documents such as drawings other than plans such as buildings to association of Ryoke town development and discuss.
For required documents, please check with the Ryoke Community Development Association.

2.Notification of having consulted with the local community development organization to the city (only acts such as buildings that require procedures based on the regulations)

Please report to Yokohama-shi at least 30 days before day when you are going to apply for building confirmation or day when you start construction such as construction.
