The second Yokohama citizen book-reading activity promotion plan
City of Yokohama, Board of Education Secretariat announced the "Second Yokohama Citizen Reading Activity Promotion Plan (draft)" to comprehensively promote the reading activities of all Yokohama citizens from infants to the elderly from 2019 to 5 and carried out citizen opinion offer.
Based on citizen opinion, we devised "the second Yokohama citizen book-reading activity promotion plan". In the future, based on this plan, ward offices, libraries, and schools will continue to promote reading activities throughout the region, making use of the cooperation base built in the first reading plan. The Board of Education promotes city-wide reading activities, such as working with private businesses to promote city-wide publicity activities and awareness-raising events for reading activities.
