About "the third Yokohama citizen book-reading activity promotion plan" (draft), we raise opinions from citizens.
Motoichi devised "Yokohama citizen book-reading activity promotion plan" in March, 2014 to promote reading activity of all Yokohama citizen from infants to elderly person generally and pushed forward approach of book-reading activity promotion Was.
Based on approach and problem of "the second Yokohama citizen book-reading activity promotion plan" that we carried out from 2019 to 5, "the third Yokohama citizen book-reading activity promotion plan" (plan period: Reiwa 6 ~ 10 years).
We raise opinions of citizen's all of you for draft of this plan and devise and announce plan during 2024.

4 Notes on soliciting opinions
We gather summary of opinion that we had and thought of Motoichi for it and announce later. Please note that we will not respond individually. We do not accept telephone comments because we need to accurately grasp opinions.
Results of the workshop
For development of the third Yokohama citizen book-reading activity promotion plan, we held workshop to talk about reading on Sunday, July 28, 2024, Saturday, August 3.
The program consisted of two parts, "5th grade elementary school students to high school students" and "18 years old or older (excluding high school students)", and talked about the current status of participants' reading activities and the opportunity to read.

About the results of the questionnaire
We conducted a questionnaire survey from July to August 2024 to grasp the current situation of reading activities of Yokohama citizens.
The questionnaire was divided into two categories: children (5th grade elementary school to 3rd grade high school students) and adults (excluding high school students aged 18 and over), and 2,856 people answered.
