Reading Barrier-Free Exhibition

This is a special exhibition that conveys reading barrier-free in an easy-to-understand manner, such as "Experience of Barrier-Free Books *", "Education Video", and "Education Panel Exhibition". A message from Sao Ichikawa, a writer of the Akutagawa Prize, is also on display.

※ Barrier-free books
It is a book that can be read in a way that suits you, such as "changing the size and color of letters" and "reading out the contents by voice".
Some are read using PCs, tablets, smartphones, dedicated devices, etc.

Presentation space on the 2nd floor of the City Hall

Barrier-free book experience corner, broadcast of enlightenment videos, display of tapestry panels, etc.

A message from Sao Ichikawa, author of the Akutagawa Prize

Mr. Sao Ichikawa, a writer who won the 169th Akutagawa Prize for "Hantzsch Back", sent a message on barrier-free reading to citizens. Mr. Ichikawa's message is on display at the venue.

We also hold a barrier-free exhibition at Chuo-toshokan from Wednesday, September 20 to October 9 (Mon./holiday).
