Do I have to pay the resident tax of my deceased husband?

Municipal tax, prefectural tax, and forest environmental tax are levied on those who live in the city as of January 1 every year based on their income during the previous year (January 1-December 31). . Therefore, for those who died after January 2, 2025, municipal tax, prefectural tax, forest environmental tax of 2025 will be levied, and the heir of the property will take over the tax obligation .
Tax will not be levied from fiscal 2026.
