Q

The property tax on land is not reduced…

Last Updated December 19, 2024

Q
Why is the property tax on my land not falling even though land prices are falling?
A

The property tax of the land is paid according to the asset value (valuation value of the land), and originally the same tax amount is required to pay the same tax amount if it is the same asset value, but from the past history, At present, there are some lands that have not yet reached the tax amount to be paid. For such land, the tax amount may be deferred or increased in order to balance the tax burden.
In addition, after reaching the standard to be paid (the main rule tax standard amount), if land prices fall, the tax amount will decrease accordingly.
