Q

The property tax does not fall.…

Last Updated May 24, 2022

Q
Why is the property tax on my land not falling even though land prices are falling?
A

The property tax on the land is paid according to the asset value (valuation value of the land), and originally, if it is the same asset value, you will have to pay the same tax amount, but from the past history, At present, some land has not yet reached the tax amount that should be paid. For such land, the tax amount may be left unchanged or increased in order to balance the tax burden.
After reaching the level that should be paid (the standard tax amount of the main rule tax), if the land price falls, the tax amount will decrease accordingly.
