The appeal for rejection system is designed to prevent the acceptance of reports that are not based on the will of the individual. If there is a notification relating to the application after appeal for rejection, if the applicant fails to confirm that the applicant has come to the counter, the notification will not be accepted.

What I need

１．appeal for rejection's Book

I hand it over at the ward office Family Registry Division.

２．Identity verification materials of the applicant

Driver's license
Passport (passport)
My number card (personal number card) or Basic Resident Register card with photo, etc.

Notes

Outside of Reception hours at the Family Registry Section window, such as at night or on holidays, you will be asked to present your identity verification materials (driver's license, passport, my number card or Basic Resident Register card with photo, etc.) with a photo issued by the public office.

Reception desk

※The applicant must submit it at the counter. (In principle, submission by mail is not possible.)

From 8:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
From 9:00 a.m. to noon on the 2nd and 4th Saturday
※Excludes public holidays and New Year holidays

Notes

During this time, you will be asked to present your identity verification materials (driver's license, passport, Basic Resident Register card with photo, etc.) with a face photo issued by the public office, and only if you can verify your identity, you will be accepted at night and on holidays. We will accept at the reception, but we will not be able to confirm the contents on the spot, so we will be treated as custody. The staff in charge of family register will confirm the contents on the next opening day, and if there is no defect, it will be accepted back to the date of acceptance and will be effective from the date and time of submission of the application form.

The validity period of appeal for rejection

It is valid from the date and time of application.
※There is no validity period, so it is valid unless you withdraw it.

Notes

If it is an application form that requires inquiries to other municipalities and cannot be confirmed because the contact information is closed, it will be treated as custody.
Inquiries will be made again on the next open agency day, and if confirmation is possible, it will be accepted back to the date of acceptance, and will be effective from the date and time of submission of the application form.
