The appeal for rejection system is designed to prevent the acceptance of notifications that are not based on the individual's will. If a notification relating to the application is received after appeal for rejection, or if it cannot be confirmed that the applicant has come to the counter, the notification will not be accepted.

What you need

１．appeal for rejection

We hand it over at the ward office Family Registry Division.

２．Identification materials for the applicant

Driver's license
Passport (passport)
My Number Card (Personal Number Card) or Basic Resident Register Card with Photo

Precautions

Outside of Reception hours at the Family Registry Section window at night or on holidays, you will be asked to present your identity verification document (driver's license, passport, my number card or Basic Resident Register card with photo) issued by a public office to confirm your identity.

※The applicant must submit it at the counter. (In principle, submission by mail is not possible.)

From Monday to Friday, 8:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
From 9:00 a.m. to noon on the 2nd and 4th Saturday
※Excludes public holidays and New Year's holidays

Precautions

During this time, you will be required to present your identity verification materials (driver's license, passport, Basic Resident Register card with photo, etc.) issued by the public office, and only if you can verify your identity, you will be treated at night and holidays only if you can verify your identity. We will accept it, but it will be treated as custody. The staff in charge of family register will check the contents on the next opening day, and if there is no defect, it will be accepted as far back as the date of acceptance and will be effective from the date and time the application form was submitted.

※There is no validity period, so it is valid unless you withdraw.

Precautions

If it is an application form that requires inquiries to other municipalities, and if it cannot be confirmed because the contact information is closed, it will be treated as custody.
We will make an inquiry again on the next open agency day, and if confirmation can be made, it will be accepted as far back as the date of acceptance, and will be effective from the date and time you submitted the application form.
